Area of Ministry: Music

Family: Well…seeing that I’m not married yet…that leaves my parents, grandparents, siblings (one brother and one sister), and all the other wonderful people in my life that I claim as my own.

Born Again: Every time there was an altar call in children’s church or at youth camp.

Education: I attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University and am working on finishing my degree in Bible & Theology.

Hometown: Waxahachie, TX, it’s a small suburb on the south tip of Dallas…about 25 miles from downtown ϑ

Previous Line of Work: Well, growing up I did all sorts of things: I worked on numerous farms and ranches (imagine that), for a Napa Auto Parts (again...who’da guessed), for a pawnshop, as a paper boy (that was fun in the winter…in Kansas). While at college I worked for a while in the Registrar’s office and also for a Valet Parking company in Dallas.

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: The Bible. No matter how many times you read the same thing, it always brings new insight.

FAVORITE
Book: Velvet Elvis, by Rob Bell
Food: Tex-Mex!! More particularly…On The Border!!
Movies: The Sound of Music, Tombstone, August Rush, Tommy Boy, the list could go on and on…but I won’t.
TV Show: The OC (well the first few seasons anyways), Prison Break, 24, American Idol.
Musical Artists: How do you ask a musician their favorite musical artist?! That’s like asking the Lord His favorite verse in the Bible! How’s He supposed to pick just one?! His inspiration goes beyond JUST ONE!!
Season: Spring…just when it’s beginning to get warm and so the mornings are still kinda cool and brisk…perfection!
Place in the World: The Island of St. Maarten
Recreational Activities/Hobbies: Snowboarding, Camping (yep), Browsing around Guitar Center or the local mall for hours on end.
Scripture: James 1:12
Sports Team: Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Longhorns.
Sport: Baseball, Speed Shopping…?
