Are you considering becoming a registered member of First Family Church? We have created an informative process for you that will better prepare you for service and connection with First Family.
The first step is to attend one of our Discover Dinners. The Discover Dinner is a place to meet and connect with our church staff on a personal level, including Pastor Galen & his wife Kay. You will also learn more about a few of the ministries here at First Family. The Discover Dinner is a free meal for you and a great time to connect with others!
The next step in becoming an official member is to attend a Discover Membership Class. This class will better inform you of some of the beliefs and teachings of First Family, as well as explain in more detail why we do what we do. Upon completion of these simple steps, you will be eligible for consideration to serve in any capacity within First Family Church.
You may be asking...why? What would be the benefit to me in becoming an official registered member? There are some positions of volunteer leadership at First Family that are only available to registered members. Also, once every year First Family holds an annual business meeting. In this meeting business matters of high importance are voted upon by the official membership of the church. We also believe that it is very important that every believer make a commitment to the church they regularly attend. It is a great opportunity that we have to commit to one another and to God that we will grow and serve a local fellowship and that we are committed to help in any way that we can to further spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
