What to Expect
If you’re thinking of visiting First Family, our desire is that your visit will be one full of enjoyment! From the moment you pull into the parking lot you will feel the warmth and welcome that make First Family a place for you. Don’t have the right kind of clothes? Sure you do! We come as we are and so should you. People who attend First Family love the fact that there are people from all walks of life represented. From businessmen in suit and tie to a high schooler in shorts and a t-shirt. There is no need to dress in a certain form or fashion in order to fit in. We encourage everyone to simply come as you feel comfortable.
Children
If you have children we know they will enjoy the programs we have prepared just for them! Kids of every age group will have the time of their life in one of our safe and secure children’s areas. From birth all the way to 5th grade First Family is the place your child will want to be on the weekend!
From the foyer to the main auditorium, there is no doubt that you will feel the energy and excitement that comes with being a part of such an amazing place! Our weekend services are centered around three vital components: Worship, Prayer and Teaching.
Worship
Worship is the part of our service that we spend giving thanks and praise to God. We believe that people stand, clap and even sing about the things they are passionate about. At First Family, our greatest passion is for our awesome God. So we do these things to show Him and others our love for Him.
Prayer
Prayer is another key element that we believe is a vital part of our time together. Every weekend we take time in our services to pray for anyone who desires prayer. We believe that God cares about the things we care about. We also believe that if we are facing a difficult issue or a trying situation in our lives, that God cares and His desire is for us to allow Him to help us with anything that we may go through.
Teaching
Teaching is the third component that you will find in every service. God gave us His Word, the Bible, to find wisdom and guidelines to live by. Pastor Galen teaches principles of hope, truth and encouragement, that will enhance your life and bring a new perspective for the days to come.
